    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

As one of their largest investments people always have a plenty of questions before makingany decisions , below are a number of the more commonplace ones…

Unless you’re a qualified roofing professional, most roofing work should never be undertaken yourself. In addition keep in mind that the majority of manufacturers of products used in the roof repair will not warranty those products unless a certified roofing contractor performs the work. The other thing to bear in mind is that working on a roof could be very risky, so is it really worth risking your health so you can save money?

It would be fantastic if we were able to give you a straight forward response to this question! However there actually is no one answer that fits all for every question like that. There are plenty of different products available and each one will have its own benefits and disadvantages. To determine which is the best roof for you, you really should have an expert come and examine your roof and they can make suggestions according to what they observe, the type of roof you have, the environment you live in and, of course, your budget.

It really depends on the type of roof and what surveys are mandated. Also, remember that we will be working outside in the elements, so if the weather is bad and we cannot work on certain days then this is going to add more time to the job. A small home may take about a week or so, whereas more substantial industrial jobs might be anything from a few weeks to a number of months. Just be sure your roofing contractor keeps you updated and you should be fine.

Because your roof is consistently exposed to the outside elements, this means your roof is going to diminish with time. The pace at which it deteriorates will be dependent on a number of factors. These include; the quality of the initial materials used and the craftsmanship, the amount of abuse it has to take from the elements, how well the roof is preserved and the style of the roof. Most roofing professionals will estimate around 20 years for a well-built and properly maintained roof, but obviously that can never be promised because of the above factors. Our suggestion is to always keep your roof well maintained and get regular inspections to make sure it lasts as long as possible.

You should not ever pressure wash your roof, as you take the risk of eliminating any covering materials that have been added to provide shielding from the elements. Furthermore, you should stay away from chlorine-based bleach cleaning products as they can easily also decrease the life of your roof. When you talk to your roof cleaning professional, tell them to use an EPA-approved algaecide/fungicide to wash your roof. This will clear away the ugly algae and yellowing without destroying the tile or shingles.

    More About Spring Hill

Spring Hill is a census-designated place (CDP) in Hernando County, Florida, United States. The population was 98,621 at the 2010 census,[1] up from 69,078 at the 2000 census. The American Community Survey estimated the population in 2017 to be 113,508.[4] Spring Hill belongs to Florida’s Nature Coast region and is in the Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater metro area. It is east of Hernando Beach, southwest of Brooksville, and north of Tampa.

Spring Hill was formerly a large tract of endangered Longleaf Pine Ecosystem and Sand Pine Scrub with very high biodiversity, and a safe haven for many imperiled species, and most of it remained unchanged until the 1970’s with large scale deforestation.[citation needed] It first appeared on Hernando County maps as early as 1856 along what is today Fort Dade Avenue just north of the community of Wiscon.[5] The modern Spring Hill was founded in 1967 as a planned community, which was developed by the Deltona Corporation and the Mackle Brothers. The developers originally wanted to call the community Spring Lake and used that as the working name through the development process. They were forced to use a different name due to the name Spring Lake already being in use locally and chose Spring Hill.[6] The plans for the community are identical to the community of Deltona. The Mackle Brothers sold many of the properties and land in the area through intense advertising.[7] It has since become a sprawling semi-city in its own right, though it is an unincorporated area. The main entrance to the original development is marked by the Spring Hill waterfall on Spring Hill Drive and U.S. Route 19 (Commercial Way).

    1. Utilize a local company. Before hiring a contractor, make sure that there is a physical address in your city or county. Local contractors are more likely to know about the codes and building requirements in your town. They are also not as likely to attempt to scam you away from your money since they should maintain their reputation in your community.

    2. Verify how the contractor is licensed and insured. Reputable contractors always take the time to get licensed. You must be able to check out licensing information online from the website of the city or state. Check to make sure that the contractor’s license is valid and that it is current before hiring them. Additionally, ask the contractor to supply proof of liability insurance and worker’s compensation insurance before they begin work.

    3. Solicit competing quotes. Don’t have the mistake of hiring the 1st company which you contact. Instead, reach out to no less than some different contractors in your community to get quotes for your roofing project. Ask each contractor to present you an itemized quote so that you can see specifically where your cash is certainly going. Ideally, they ought to send a representative to your property to examine your roof directly before giving you an estimate. Doing this, the estimate they provide is going to be a lot more accurate.

    4. Ensure the company is trustworthy by reading through reviews from their past clients. Consider checking with groups like the Better Business Bureau (BBB) to ensure that no major complaints happen to be filed against them.

    5. Get all things in writing. Don’t just take a contractor at their word. Instead, ask them to present you with a written contract. Make sure both you and also the contractor sign the agreement. Have a copy on your own in case any problems or disputes arise. A signed contract reduces the potential risk of misunderstandings and will provide you with legal protection in case the contractor fails to go by through on the promises.
