We’ll also discuss some of the common types of warranties offered, what they cover, and how they differ from each other.

A shingle roof warranty is a contract between you and the roofing company that guarantees your roof will be free of defects for a specified length of time. These warranties can last up to 10 years., although some extended warranties can last up to 25 years. The warranty covers any defects in the materials or workmanship of the roof installation, including leaks, cracked or damaged shingles, and other issues.

When choosing a roofing warranty, it’s important to understand what type of coverage you’re getting and what limitations are in place. Some warranties may only cover certain types of damage, while others can cover a broad range of potential problems. It’s also important to understand any exclusions or limitations that may be included in the warranty, such as coverage for storm damage or certain types of repairs.
