    FAQs

As one of their biggest investments people usually have a plenty of questions before coming to a conclusion , below are a number of the more commonplace ones…

Unless you’re a trained roofing professional, the majority of roofing tasks should never be performed yourself. Also keep in mind that almost all manufacturers of products used in the roof repair won’t warranty those products unless a certified professional carries out the job. The other thing to remember is that working on a roof may be very hazardous, so is it really worth endangering your health in order to save money?

It would be fantastic if we were able to give you a straight forward answer to that question! However there actually is no single answer fits all for each question like that. There are several unique products available and each will have its own advantages and faults. To determine which is the ideal roof for you, you really should have a contractor come and check out your roof and they can make recommendations based on what they have seen, your roof design, the climate you reside in and, of course, your budget.

It definitely depends upon the type of roof you currently have and exactly what evaluations are required. Also, remember that we will be working outside in the elements, so if the weather isn’t good and we can’t work on certain days then this will definitely add more time to the job. A small home could take about a week or so, while larger industrial jobs can be anything from a few weeks to a few months. Just ensure that your roofing company keeps you updated and you should be fine.

Due to the fact that your roof is constantly exposed to the outside elements, it means your roof is going to break down with time. The speed at which it breaks down will be dependent on a number of factors. Those include; the grade of the initial materials that were used along with the craftsmanship, the level of abuse it has to take from the weather, how well the roof is taken care of and the style of the roof. Most roofing companies will quote around 20 years for a well-built and well-kept roof, but that can never be promised because of the above factors. Our advice is to consistently keep your roof well maintained and get regular roof inspections to make sure it lasts as long as possible.

You should never pressure wash your roof, as you take the risk of eliminating any covering minerals that have been included to provide shielding from the elements. On top of that, you should avoid chlorine-based bleach cleaners as they can easily also diminish the life of your roof. When you talk to your roof cleaning expert, tell them to use an EPA-approved algaecide/fungicide to clean your roof. This will clear away the unsightly algae and discoloration without damaging the tile or shingles.

Here are a few things that some of our customers have had to say…

    More About Tarpon Springs

Tarpon Springs is a city in Pinellas County, Florida, United States. The population was 23,484 at the 2010 census.[6] Tarpon Springs has the highest percentage of Greek Americans of any city in the US.[7] Downtown Tarpon Springs has long been a focal point and is undergoing beautification.[8]

The region, with a series of bayous feeding into the Gulf of Mexico, was first settled by white and black farmers and fishermen[9] around 1876. Some of the newly arrived visitors spotted tarpon jumping out of the waters and so named the location Tarpon Springs. The name is said to have originated with a remark of Mrs. Ormond Boyer, an early settler from South Carolina, and who, while standing on the shore of the Bayou and seeing fish leaping exclaimed, “See the tarpon spring!’ However, for the most part , the fish seen splashing here were mullet rather than tarpon. In 1882, Hamilton Disston, who in the previous year had purchased the land where the city of Tarpon Springs now stands, ordered the creation of a town plan for the future city.[1] On February 12, 1887, Tarpon Springs became the first incorporated city in what is now Pinellas County.[1] Less than a year later on January 13, 1888, the Orange Belt Railway, the first railroad line to be built in what is now Pinellas County, arrived in the city.[10] During this time the area was developed as a wintering spot for wealthy northerners.

How To Choose A Reliable Roofing Contractor For Your Residence

    commercial-roofing-contractors-in
The main reason for your roof would be to shelter your family members from your rain, wind, snow, and harsh summer sun. Using a well-maintained roof is crucial in order to develop a home that may be safe and comfy.

Unfortunately, roofing materials don’t last forever. All roofs need to be repaired or replaced at some point or other. Unless you will find the right tools and experience to perform the task yourself, that typically means hiring a professional roofing contractor.

The necessity of hiring the proper company can’t be overstated. Most roofing projects are quite expensive. You should know that you will be investing your money wisely and therefore the finished roof can last for a long time in the future. Take a look at these tips on how to find a reliable roof specialist for your home:

    1. Utilize a local company. Before getting a contractor, ensure that these people have a physical address inside your city or county. Local contractors are more likely to be informed about the codes and building requirements in your area. They are also unlikely in order to scam you out of your money since they have to maintain their reputation in your community.

    2. Verify that this contractor is licensed and insured. Reputable contractors always make time to get licensed. You should be able to check out licensing information online throughout the website of your city or state. Check to make sure that the contractor’s license is valid and that it is current prior to getting them. Additionally, ask the contractor to supply evidence of liability insurance and worker’s compensation insurance before they begin work.

    3. Solicit competing quotes. Don’t have the mistake of hiring the very first company that you contact. Instead, get in touch with a minimum of some different contractors in your community to have quotes for that roofing project. Ask each contractor to offer you an itemized quote so that you can see specifically where your hard earned money is headed. Ideally, they must send a representative to the property to check the roof directly before offering you an insurance quote. Doing this, the estimate they provide will be much more accurate.

    4. Be sure the clients are trustworthy by reading through reviews off their past clients. Consider checking with groups such as the Better Business Bureau (BBB) to make sure that that no major complaints happen to be filed against them.

    5. Get everything in writing. Don’t just take a contractor at their word. Instead, ask them to present you a written contract. Be sure both you together with the contractor sign the contract. Keep a copy for yourself in the event any problems or disputes arise. A signed contract reduces the potential risk of misunderstandings and provides you with legal protection in case the contractor fails to follow along with through on their own promises.

Choosing a reliable roofing company for your home is important. Your roof is among the most important components of your home. Getting a professional roofing contractor who may have an incredible reputation is the simplest way to ensure that the project goes as planned.
