    FAQs

As one of their biggest expenditures people usually have a plenty of questions before coming to a conclusion , below are a number of the most commonplace ones…

Unless you’re a qualified roofing professional, most roofing jobs should never be carried out yourself. Also remember that a large number of manufacturers of products utilized in the roof repair won’t warranty those items unless a licensed professional carries out the job. Something else to always remember is that working on a roof may be very dangerous, so is it really worth jeopardizing your health so you can save money?

It would be great if we could give you a straight forward response to this question! But there really is no single answer that fits all for each question like that. There are many unique products available and each one has its own advantages and disadvantages. To know which is the best roof for you, you should have a contractor come and take a look at your roof and they can make recommendations according to what they have seen, your roof design, the environment you live in and, of course, your budget.

It really depends upon the kind of roof and exactly what surveys are required. Also, bear in mind that we’re working outdoors in the elements, so if the weather is bad and we can’t work on certain days then this is going to add more time to the task. A small home may take about a week or so, while much larger commercial projects might be anything from a few weeks to a few months. Just make sure your roofing contractor keeps you updated and you should be fine.

Considering that your roof is consistently subjected to the weather, it means your roof is will break down with time. The pace at which it degrades will depend upon a range of factors. Those include; the grade of the original components that were used and the workmanship, the level of abuse it has to take from the weather, how well the roof is taken care of and the type of roof. Most roofing companies will quote around 20 years for a well-built and well-kept roof, but that can never be promised as a result of the above variables. Our advice is to always keep your roof well maintained and get regular checkups to make sure it lasts as long as possible.

You should never pressure wash your roof, as you take the risk of taking off any protective minerals that have been included to give shielding from the elements. On top of that, you really should keep away from chlorine-based bleach cleaning products as they may also decrease the lifespan of your roof. When you converse with your roof cleaning professional, ask them to use an EPA-approved algaecide/fungicide to clean your roof. That will clear away the unpleasant algae and staining without ruining the tile or shingles.

Here are a few things that some of our customers have said about us…

    More About Tarpon Springs

Tarpon Springs is a city in Pinellas County, Florida, United States. The population was 23,484 at the 2010 census.[6] Tarpon Springs has the highest percentage of Greek Americans of any city in the US.[7] Downtown Tarpon Springs has long been a focal point and is undergoing beautification.[8]

The region, with a series of bayous feeding into the Gulf of Mexico, was first settled by white and black farmers and fishermen[9] around 1876. Some of the newly arrived visitors spotted tarpon jumping out of the waters and so named the location Tarpon Springs. The name is said to have originated with a remark of Mrs. Ormond Boyer, an early settler from South Carolina, and who, while standing on the shore of the Bayou and seeing fish leaping exclaimed, “See the tarpon spring!’ However, for the most part , the fish seen splashing here were mullet rather than tarpon. In 1882, Hamilton Disston, who in the previous year had purchased the land where the city of Tarpon Springs now stands, ordered the creation of a town plan for the future city.[1] On February 12, 1887, Tarpon Springs became the first incorporated city in what is now Pinellas County.[1] Less than a year later on January 13, 1888, the Orange Belt Railway, the first railroad line to be built in what is now Pinellas County, arrived in the city.[10] During this time the area was developed as a wintering spot for wealthy northerners.

How To Locate A Reliable Roofing Company For Your House

    asphalt-roof-in
The key purpose of your homes roof would be to shelter your loved ones in the rain, wind, snow, and harsh summer sun. Having a well-maintained roof is essential in order to build a home which is safe and comfortable.

Unfortunately, roofing materials don’t last forever. All roofs should be repaired or replaced at some time or another. Unless you will find the right tools and experience to do the job yourself, that generally means employing a professional roofing contractor.

The importance of hiring the right company can’t be overstated. Most roofing projects are usually expensive. You need to know that you are investing your hard earned money wisely and that the finished roof lasts for a long time into the future. Look at these tips about how to locate a reliable roofer for your residence:

    1. Employ a local company. Prior to hiring a contractor, ensure that they have a physical address with your city or county. Local contractors are more likely to be familiar with the codes and building requirements in your neighborhood. Also, they are more unlikely in order to scam you from the money since they should maintain their reputation in your neighborhood.

    2. Verify how the contractor is licensed and insured. Reputable contractors always make time to get licensed. You should be able to lookup licensing information online throughout the website of your city or state. Check to be sure that the contractor’s license is valid and that it is current before hiring them. Additionally, ask the contractor to offer evidence of insurance and worker’s compensation insurance before they start work.

    3. Solicit competing quotes. Don’t create the mistake of hiring the very first company which you contact. Instead, reach out to at least various contractors in your neighborhood to acquire quotes for your roofing project. Ask each contractor to provide you with an itemized quote to help you see just where your hard earned money is headed. Ideally, they should send an agent to your property to examine the roof in person before supplying you with an insurance quote. Doing this, the estimate they provide will likely be much more accurate.

    4. Ensure the clients are trustworthy by reading through reviews off their past clients. Consider checking with groups such as the Better Business Bureau (BBB) to confirm that no major complaints happen to be filed against them.

    5. Get all things in writing. Don’t just take a contractor at their word. Instead, ask them to provide you with a written contract. Make sure both you and the contractor sign the agreement. Have a copy for your self in the event any problems or disputes arise. A signed contract reduces the risk of misunderstandings and offers you legal protection when the contractor fails to follow through on the promises.

Deciding on a reliable roofer for your residence is important. Your roof is among the most important components of your property. Hiring a professional roofer who may have an incredible reputation is the easiest way to be sure that the project goes as planned.
