    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

As one of their biggest financial investments people usually have a plenty of questions before makingany decisions , below are a few of the most commonplace ones…

Unless you are a qualified roofing professional, the majority of roofing tasks should never be performed yourself. Also keep in mind that a lot of manufacturers of products utilized in the roof repair won’t warranty those products unless a certified roofing contractor performs the task. Something else to keep in mind is that working on a roof can be very dangerous, so is it really worth jeopardizing your health for you to save money?

It would be great if we were able to give you a straight forward response to this question! But there actually is no one answer that fits all for every question like that. There are so many different products available and each and every one will have its own merits and faults. To know which is the best roof for you, you should have a contractor come and take a look at your roof and they can make suggestions according to what they have seen, your roof design, the climate you live in and, of course, your budget.

It actually depends upon the type of roof you have and exactly what inspections are mandated. Also, bear in mind that we will be working outside in the elements, so if the weather is bad and we can’t work on certain days then this will definitely add more time to the task. A small home may take around a week or so, while more substantial commercial projects could be anything from a few weeks to a few months. Just be sure your roofing company keeps you updated and you should be fine.

Because your roof is continuously exposed to the weather, this means your roof is will break down with time. The rate at which it breaks down will be dependent on a number of factors. Those include; the grade of the initial materials that were used as well as the workmanship, the amount of abuse it has to take from the weather, how well the roof is preserved and the style of the roof. Most roofing companies will estimate around 20 years for a well-built and well-kept roof, but obviously that can never be guaranteed due to the above factors. Our suggestion is to always keep your roof well maintained and get regular inspections to be sure it lasts as long as possible.

You should never pressure-wash your roof, as you run the risk of washing away any covering materials that have been added to give shielding from the elements. Aside from that, you really should avoid chlorine-based bleach cleaning products as they can easily also reduce the life-span of your roof. When you speak to your roof cleaning expert, ask them to use an EPA-approved algaecide/fungicide to clean your roof. That will get rid of the unsightly algae and discoloration without damaging the tile or shingles.

    More About Spring Hill

Spring Hill is a census-designated place (CDP) in Hernando County, Florida, United States. The population was 98,621 at the 2010 census,[1] up from 69,078 at the 2000 census. The American Community Survey estimated the population in 2017 to be 113,508.[4] Spring Hill belongs to Florida’s Nature Coast region and is in the Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater metro area. It is east of Hernando Beach, southwest of Brooksville, and north of Tampa.

Spring Hill was formerly a large tract of endangered Longleaf Pine Ecosystem and Sand Pine Scrub with very high biodiversity, and a safe haven for many imperiled species, and most of it remained unchanged until the 1970’s with large scale deforestation.[citation needed] It first appeared on Hernando County maps as early as 1856 along what is today Fort Dade Avenue just north of the community of Wiscon.[5] The modern Spring Hill was founded in 1967 as a planned community, which was developed by the Deltona Corporation and the Mackle Brothers. The developers originally wanted to call the community Spring Lake and used that as the working name through the development process. They were forced to use a different name due to the name Spring Lake already being in use locally and chose Spring Hill.[6] The plans for the community are identical to the community of Deltona. The Mackle Brothers sold many of the properties and land in the area through intense advertising.[7] It has since become a sprawling semi-city in its own right, though it is an unincorporated area. The main entrance to the original development is marked by the Spring Hill waterfall on Spring Hill Drive and U.S. Route 19 (Commercial Way).

Check to be sure that the contractor’s license applies and that it must be current before getting them. Additionally, ask the contractor to deliver proof of liability insurance and worker’s compensation insurance before they begin work.

    3. Solicit competing quotes. Don’t create the mistake of hiring the initial company that you contact. Instead, get in touch with a minimum of a few different contractors in your community to acquire quotes to the roofing project. Ask each contractor to provide you with an itemized quote so that you can see specifically where your cash is headed. Ideally, they ought to send an agent to the property to look at your homes roof in person before offering you a quotation. Doing this, the estimate they supply will probably be considerably more accurate.

    5. Get all things in writing. Don’t just take a contractor at their word. Instead, question them to present you with a written contract. Make certain both you together with the contractor sign the agreement. Have a copy for yourself in the event any problems or disputes arise. A signed contract reduces the chance of misunderstandings and provides you with legal protection in case the contractor fails to adhere to through on the promises.
